Building TableViews with Swift and iOS8

You need to  RSVP here AND via EventBrite to attend. RSVP with EventBrite here.

Building TableViews with Swift and iOS8

TableViews are the foundation of most (non-gaming) iOS applications, and Swift provides several unexplored patterns for approaching TableViews moving forward. Experienced Objective-C programmers will learn how to apply "Swift-thinking" when approaching an iOS8 TableView. New iOS developers will learn the basics of TableViews and how to use them in their own iOS projects.

Thanks for organizing, Arwa and crew! For those in the group interested in living on the edge, we'd love to see you at the Apple Watch mini hackathon today at 1p at Hacker Dojo. You can also hop on the Google Hangout if you can't make it in-person. All the details: http://meetu.ps/2xnjwd

I won't be able to make this slug meet up but wondering if anybody has used pattern callbacks and swift yet?

    • Nick O.

Sorry, for some reason I read that as "playground callbacks"

Nick, no problem, I'm sure what u posted about async code in playgrounds will come up at some point.

Thanks for this Meetup! As beginner, it was a great way to connect with beginners like me and people with experience! I'll make my best to come again
