CITY RHYTHM ORCHESTRA, based in Philadelphia, has been tough to book due to their tour schedule. Led by Pete Spina and Nick Vallerio, their extraordinary performances are always tremendously entertaining, and have been a big favorite for DC swing dancers since they first played for Gottaswing in 2006. The stars have aligned and we're able to see them with special guest RAY GELATO! Based in London, he is known as the “Godfather of Swing” is a multi-talented singer, saxophonist, songwriter and band leader who has appeared at international festivals, clubs, and concert stages from Brazil to New York City–and Washington, DC! For one spectacular night, they'll combine to present a show that can’t be beat. A music critic called them “a match made in swing heaven,” and it shows from the first note.
