Our featured presenter will be a SWUGNYC favorite Avelino Rochino.

“Advanced Surfacing Techniques for the Newbie”: This brief presentation covers surfacing features that can be useful to anyone. I also cover beginning surfacing techniques. The presentation is designed to take some of the mystery and fear out of surface modeling.

Matt Rohr (that's me) will be presenting:

"CAD in the Age of 3D printing"

Most design engineering software is geared towards traditional manufacturing processes, however CAD tools are increasingly being adapted to support additive manufacturing. In this presentation we will discuss ways software tools from SOLIDWORKS and its partners can be used to maximize the potential of 3D printing, the limits of current CAD software and noteworthy new developments.

Just added!

Gianluca Mattaroccia from Standard Motor Products is a Certified SolidWorks Professional and a long-time SWUGNYC attendee who will tell us his story. Gianluca is an exceptional engineer and tooling designer. His work was featured as the splash screen of SolidWorks 2014.
