Spring already? Onto another new venue at Lorica Health in The Rocks. We have a good range of talks, from beginner to expert.

→ Tim Lavers (KPMG)
"Kotlin as a Teaching Language"

In this talk we will consider the merits of Kotlin as an introductory programming language. We will see that it is possible to write surprisingly advanced programs using just a small number of concepts, as was done in my book "Programming for Beginners".

→ Reza Farahani (Landmarks ID)
"Ease Up Android Dependency Injection with Dagger[masked]"

Recently I went through an app upgrade which internally manages dependencies with Dagger 2.10. I’ve upgraded it to Dagger[masked] where many life saver annotations are added to minimise boilerplate code and managing components and modules. Here, we go through implementing the latest Dagger from scratch.
