What we're about

Established in 2007, The Sydney Development Circle (SDC) is a mentoring and networking group open to anyone interested in international aid and community development at the local, regional and global levels.

SDC represents people of all ages, backgrounds and experience, across diverse development sectors. There are no membership dues. A volunteer steering committee coordinates events, and members are invited to recommend speakers and topics. We collaborate with other Development Circles throughout Australia.

What do we do?

The Sydney Development Circle aims to provide a forum for sharing ideas and resources as well as discussing topical issues with others. Meetings also give members and guests the opportunity to share information about the organisation they work for and their areas of experience, interest and passion in the field of development both in and out of Australia.

Seminars and networking events

Regular seminars and workshops are held at UTS - Building 10, 235 Jones Street, Ultimo. They are usually held on the first Monday of the month from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Entry is $5 payable at the door.
