3D Printing 101

3d printing Guru Andrew Morrow is teaching a class on 3D printing basics!

The class covers:

-  Anatomy of a 3D printer
-  Safety when operating the machine
-  Storage and treatment of consumables
-  Basic maintenance of the machine
-  Troubleshooting a variety of potential failures
-  Available software to send prints to the machine
-  Tips for leveling the build plate

Andrew will be showing a variety of prints with different failures to highlight causes and solutions to printing problems. This class is held monthly.

    Thank you all for coming out last night! Here is a solid list of most of the types of filament that you can buy currently:

    Note that Matter Hackers is my favorite filament supplier. Also mentioned last night was Taulman Nylon. Remember that printing in Nylon is advanced printing in a big way, so be aware before you buy any filament that Taulman Bridge is the currently easiest to print material.

  • the Meetup is rescheduled
  • you can cancel at least 0 day(s) before the Meetup

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
