What type of projects do you like to work on?

I make robots from found parts and use my arduino to program them. My gizmos are typically more character-like and interactive, having simple functions that portray a personality. Right now I am creating small delta robot models and trying out different ways to control them, either by wiiChuck, iphone, kinect, or anything else that seams cool. My background is in more traditional art (illustration/printmaking), so I'm into the visual aspect of the bot. I love the process of fabrication, however I'm a noob when it comes to programming so I learn what I need to know in the moment and run with it.

What skillset would you like to learn?

Right now I'm getting better at interfacing processing with the arduino. I'm also toying around with touchOSC to turn my iphone into a nifty control for my bots. I would like to eventually get better at programming in general as I sort of scrape to get by with what I know. Honestly, I want to know more about whatever is out there.

has robot army.
