S4: Thanka'Glanka: A Sides Quest | Lvl. 1 - 5 | DM Johnny Q (Grey Lore Master)

Adventure Description:

It has been some years since the Khulluhk wars, and the Rimor Imperivm has been making some progress in rebuilding Porto Sicuro. Her Highness, Empress Augustine, has ordered the Royal Chef, Gordenia Ramslay, to cook a huge feast in Porto Sicuro to celebrate Thanka’Glanka. Which would be followed by a large parade and a demonstration of the might of the Rimor Imperivm. The feast is open to all who attend in Porto Sicuro and there will be games, food, and merriment for all.

Chef Ramslay is Primordia's most renowned chef with a Five Forked Tongue rating. She is a very exacting and demanding chef and has requested some special ingredients that the Crown is happy to procure for her. The Royal Quartermaster, Sir Romesco de Sal, has tasked you and your group to go after one of those key ingredients – The Golden Corn of Ashwinger.

Notes:

• The adventure is for 1 - 5 level players only.
• All my adventures do include the following mechanics at my table:
• I do a modified initiative system (DC20) – Each combat encounter will have a DC that the group initiative roll must beat to be first in the initiative order. If the group fails, then they will be last as a group in the order. I will provide more information at the table.
• I do a crunchy-crunchy crit system – any natural 20’s will do double max damage and then the player will roll for their last part of the damage.
• I provide a pool of inspiration for each player at the beginning of each session.
• I encourage all players to add their character to my D&D Beyond campaign and will provide a great incentive to do so.
• I encourage teamwork and RPG at every possible moment.
• Most of all I want to see all my players having fun!
• Chance of death will be dependent on the PC’s actions or inactions.

Additional Notes:
This MTE will be preceded by a potluck which starts at 5pm. If you are attending any of these games, please plan on bringing something to share with the community (for you and about four others), within your means. Times are hard for everyone right now, and if this would be an undue burden for you, please do not feel like you need to put yourself under any unnecessary pressure or expectation. Do what you are comfortable with, and we can't wait to see you at the table!
