August Movie Drinks, Chat & Meet

Details
Come meet fellow film fans for drink and discussion upstairs in the Curzon Cinema bar. We will chat about what films we've seen at home, in the cinema, what we did/didn't like, and what we'd recommend.
Please only RSVP if you intend on turning up, you certainly don't need to see all the featured films...But it helps if you've seen at least one!
Be sure to check the comments below on ways to stream certain films!
Although we discuss both new and old movies, here are some new releases (and one classic) you may wish to see and give your views on....

The Marching Band (Streaming)
(aka En Fanfare) The huge French critical and commercial hit is now on streaming. Thibaut is a widely respected orchestral conductor, however he is struck down by the news he has leukaemia. When undergoing a bone morrow suitability match he also discovers he is adopted! He tracks down his long lost (and less well off) brother Jimmy, who is pleased to meet him, but starts getting a bit miffed that posh Thibaut wants constant medical tests and donor tissue. Jimmy plays in a local, amateur marching back, maybe Thibaut can help them out and help Jimmy out for once!
The Piano Teacher (2001, In Cinema and on Streaming)
A large scale Michael Haneke retrospective is released nationwide. Entitled ‘Complicit’ many of the Director's films are back, restored and released in the cinema, and online.
