Details

Learn how to use impact mapping to drive conversations and evidence based rationalizations of your work.

You will be taught how to refine your ways to drive collaboration with your team and your stakeholders. All too often as product owners and product managers, you get a strategy from your stakeholders which boils down to a list of solutions to be built (the order giver) and then you and your team have to translate that into what is actually built (the order taker). What gets lost in this dynamic is the why of what gets built, and ensuring the things that do get built are the most important thing(s) for your enterprise.

Impact mapping is a technique to drive this collaboration and really start to tie causal relationships around the things that get built, to how we measure the outcomes we hope to achieve when we deliver on that thing that got built. We will also explore how impact mapping helps you with writing better user stories, features, and epics.
