Are you ready to start paying the highest sales tax in the state of Florida?
Is the additional one cent sales tax for "transportation" going to improve the traffic congestion on our roads? Is the one-half cent sales tax for schools designated to repair or replace air conditioners in the schools?Come join us this month on October 1 and join in the discussion of the County charter amendments with Republican State Committeeman Tom Gaitens. The meeting starts at 6:30 pm. But come a little early for the meet-and-greet.
Due to the Labor Day Holiday, there will be no Brandon 912 meeting in September. Please use the time to get out the vote for your conservative candidates. And plan to attend our October 1st meeting, when we will hopefully discuss the amendments that will be on the general election ballot.
Due to our regular meeting date coinciding with the primary election on August 28, we'll be meeting at Beef O'Brady on Himes Ave. at Busch Blvd. where we can watch the election returns and eat a nice meal and hear from campaign workers as they trickle in to recount their "war" stories. Join us to cheer on our conservative nominees and school board and judicial winners! Come at 7 pm, or if you are working the polls, come when you can. We will be there, partying like it's 1999!
Come join us on Monday, August 6, to hear from our Candidates for the Hillsborough County School Board. There are serious issues with which the school board is dealing for the upcoming year: school safety, the budget, and the elimination of courtesy busing this past year, just to name a few. We need to elect the right people to solve these problems. Plan to come and bring your friends and neighbors! .
