Location image of event venue

Details

If you need to reach me, my number is[masked]. As part of the Saint Pete Beach Classic weekend, there will be a concert (The Last Radio, formerly known as The Highwaters) and bonfire behind the Sirata Resort in Saint Pete Beach. There is no charge for attending. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

For more information about the weekend's events:

If you'd like to join us for the Beach Fun Run at 5 PM, please see separately posted Meetup.

Additional information:

• Meeting location: The bonfire will take place behind Rum Runners bar in the southwest corner of the hotel on the beach. TBA will have a table between Rum Runners and Coconuts (another bar located in the tent behind Rum Runners). Please stop by and say hello.

• Parking: Parking in the hotel lot will not be available, however there are multiple parking lots in the area including the one across from Dolphin Landing as well as metered parking on Gulf Blvd. north of the hotel. Street parking is also available behind the 7-11 across from the Beach Comber. They don't know how many people will be attending so you may want to arrive a little early.

Additional parking info from the promoters:

The dimensions of our island puts parking at a premium, so we have approval from City administration that they will not ticket on race weekend - just don't block a driveway or fire hydrant! We have approval from some private property owners to use their lots as well - these will be identified by white "Race Parking" signs placed by them. Generally they are: The SE corner of 46th Ave. and Gulf (behind the bar), East side of Gulf Blvd in the 4100 block, 200 block of the North side of Corey Ave. Also, the county park across from Dolphin Village. We will mark any private property with white "Race Parking" signs.

• Band: The Last Radio, formerly known as The Highwaters. They start playing 6 PM (bonfire starts at 7)

• Room availability: The hotel has some open rooms but not many. Call[masked] and mention you want the St. Pete Beach Classic rate of $119 per night ($109 if you stay both Friday and Saturday nights).
