The premier, hand-crafted, spirits produced by Greenhook Ginsmiths are crafted in a Copper Pot Still in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn. Their unique process creates a beautifully fragrant gin with lifted aromas and vibrant flavors. The original, dry gin is made from all organic ingredients and received a 94 point review from Tasting Panel Magazine. The true feature of this tasting, however, is the Beach Plum Gin Liqueur. With a 91 point review from Wine Enthusiast who said it was "excellent" and "highly recommended" you'll find this liqueur to be purely delicious. The Beach Plums, which are indigenous to the beaches of New York are rare and finicky. This is inspired by the traditional, English Sloe Gin. The Beach Plums are soaked for a full 7 months with just a touch of sugar. Don't miss out on tasting this liqueur!
Leopold Brothers Small Batch Whiskey/Flavored Whiskey:
Based out of Denver, Colorado, this crew certainly knows how to produce top notch spirits. The Leopold Bros. have artfully mastered the craft of distillation and created a unique brand with a big presence. They didn't call it quits with just one spirit - they offer up a vodka, 2 gins (one of which is 140 proof or 70% ABV) a small batch whiskey, flavored whiskeys, liqueurs, and more! With that range of products there is no denying that the brand has a major following. We're excited to present these products to our customers while we're able to say that we thoroughly enjoy all of the spirits we get to share with you! The Leopold Bros. designed and developed a unique distillery in which environmental sustainability is a daily practice, and the art and science of fermentation and distillation is practiced at the highest possible level. While their efforts to keep their distillation process "green" is extremely appreciated, we hold a special place in our heart for this family owned and operated brand. Our complimentary tastings are set up in a way that allows our guests to arrive at any point during the time period. The tastings are meant to be a fun, social, educational & tasty experience!"
