Where do you normally play pool? Do you like it there, and for what reasons?

I played pool where I live, it is not often. I played more when I was younger. I thought Pool sounded like a good passtime & meet some people from where I live, not so darn far away. Most meet up groups are in Minneapolis or further. I do not know why my profile has Stillwater. I am in Burnsville.

Do you currently play in a league or have you in the past?

I played with friends & family waaaaaaay back when. My friend Ginny was on a team in my home town. I should ask her if she plays now. She does not live around here or I would have her come along. During the winter carnival it was fun to watch others play & go the rounds to a bunch of Taverns in town. My home town of under 3,000 people had 18 bars. I do not know what it has now. I am not a drinker. I liked the games, not the drinking.

Are you ready to have some FUN??!! Do you have any suggestions?

Yes ! ! I am ready to have fun. I just hope it is for fun, I have not played much in years & I used to be such a good target, I think a person can relearn an old talent, Hopefully ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

What goals do you want to obtain with help from this group?

Hopefully to get better at pool. Have fun. See what its like to hang out with people in this area. I have lived all over the U.S. with my job. I like to see what different people are like. Hopefully fun!! :--)

What level pool player are you: recreational, beginner, advanced, novice?

I would have to say what is the difference between recreational & beginner. One just has fun & the other is studying pool to try to be really good to win games, perhaps. I do not know my potential. I used to have such a good eye. Now I am not so sure. I mostly want to have fun. If I get good at it again. That would be really Great ! ! I guess I do not know until I try. I really think if the people are good, they can give me tips. My sister had a boyfriend who bowled. He was really, really good. He could make anyone do well. HE had the game down to a science. It depends on how well the people around us are at helping us people who have not played in many years show us. I will focus on having fun. If I am not that good at all. I will see how people respnd, if they are too let down & I do not pick it up as well or close to it as I was as a young kid. We will see. I think if I am around people who are enthuisastic then I will be more excited & do better. :--)

Hi Everyone ! ! I used to be good at playing pool ! Its been a long time. I guess I need to relearn. My father used to play a lot in my home town in Wis. I am not sure I will be as good as he was. He played often way back when.

What Marcy L. is saying about this Meetup Group

I was there only for a short while. I like that he says, its mostly for fun, not as much who wins. Its been so long since I was good at all, I can not take it too seriously. Its more for fun for me. If I got good, that would be great fun. I would like to be better at hitting the balls. My father played & he was pretty good. I would not say a champ. He did play often. Only with friends, not a league that I am aware. He did watch it on TV.
