  • Advance Birthday Gift to Me -- Afternoon Tea at the King Eddy :)
    • What we'll do Join other Meetup members and I for afternoon tea at one of my favourite stops, The King Edward Hotel (Toronto). My birthday will be in a few days following the event, and this year, I wanted to share afternoon tea with some of you as a present for myself. :) Thanks in advance for joining me! The approximate cost for their seasonal afternoon teas is $49.00 per person, plus gratuities and taxes. As per discussion with the hotel, this menu changes every season, so we probably will be having their summer afternoon tea. (Note: The winter one is on their web site.) For an idea of the menu and other hotel info, see https://www.omnihotels.com/hotels/toronto-king-edward/dining/afternoon-tea Please keep in mind that everyone will be responsible for his/her own bill, as well as contributing $2.00 per person Meetup fee for our tea Meetup. As well, late cancellations and no-shows will not be tolerated for any of our events with a reservation (as this one), as per our Meetup's policy listed on our site. We want to maintain a great reputation with all our old/favoured and new venues and/or business owners, who do and have done amazing things for us! • What to bring A big smile! • Important to know See our the highlights re: our Meetup policies above. Thanks in advance for your understanding and contribution.
