The Stories of our organizations are around us everyday. Stories of how our organization makes a difference in the world and the lives of individuals. The April meeting of Tech4Good SWFL will concentrate on making us all better Storytellers through digital media.
Each year, TechSoup runs a campaign called Storymakers (http://www.techsoup.org/community/community-initiatives/storymakers), which helps nonprofits build capacity for fundraising and advocacy through storytelling. During last year’s promotion, we learned how to make a quick video advocating the work and mission of our individual organization. This year, we’re participating, as a NetSquared group, in digital storytelling in our communities. Our goal is to connect you with the resources you need to tell your stories.
At our meeting we will explore and discover how to; create a great culture of storytelling within our organization, produce digital storytelling media, moving from story to narrative, getting the word out to supporters and potential supporters, and much more.
Join us Tuesday April 5th. We’ll start with dinner at 6 pm and program at 6:30 pm. Register today!
We invite all local nonprofit organizations to network, learn, test and explore new technologies, exchange ideas, and best practices. #nptech #t4gswfl #501swfl #net2
