Peer-to-Peer Fundraising is a method of fundraising that leverages your supporters to fundraise on your behalf. What a concept! This along with Crowdfunding is the topic up for discussion at the next Tech4Good SWFL meeting on Tuesday, September 4th at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 6340 Napa Woods Way, Naples, FL.

Featured speakers:

John Riley CFRE, President of Riley Philanthropy, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive who has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Emory University and a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Georgia State University. He is a board member of the Collier-Lee Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has has been a lecturer in nonprofit management at Florida Gulf Coast University and Hodges University.

Sissy Smith is the founder and CEO of Gifted Coin, a social enterprise that offers an online giving experience (crowdfunding) where individuals with personal needs, businesses, and nonprofits can turn to for quick and easy fundraising. As an added benefit, Gifted Coin has a pay it forward model that donates a % back to worthy causes chosen each year! Sissy is a technology professional, a PACE Collier Board Member, Make a Wish Committee Member, Past President of Women in Technology International, Past CIO Council Board Member.
