----------------

I’m a digital strategist, some time blogger and pretty regular TechMAPer known to most as London Charlotte. I’m working on a survey for a client, MyNewsdesk (a social newsroom and newswire service) to look at the future of news and communications now that we’re all publishers. There’s so many conversations going on about how professional journalism/PR/communications (delete as appropriate!) is under huge threat from the rise of the amateur. And there’s so much noise about how we need to find new ways of communicating. I guess the reality is a just a bit more complicated!

The survey is intended to take in the entire communications industry to provide genuine insight into everyone’s perspective on its future and how working processes are adapting to meet the evolving demands of the social web.

We’d really value your opinion – could you spare a few minutes before June 10th to fill in the survey? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Futureofcommunicationssurvey

As a thank you for taking part you’ll get a free copy of the report (unless you’d prefer to complete the survey anonymously). And of course there is the traditional prize draw for a bottle of champagne.

Thank you so much for reading this, and for completing the survey if you’ve time. We’d love it if you could also promote it to your network - you can never have too much data in my book!

If you have any questions or would like to speak (formally or informally) to any of the MyNewsdesk marketing team, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Best regards

Charlotte Beckett
