This is a lovely, easy walk through the picturesque Apley Woods - which have lovely wood carvings, and the Dothill Nature Reserve. There are 7 different pools along the way!
The walk will be flat but there will be mud in some places so you will need to wear good footwear.
From the car park we take Glade Way, B5063 and A442 to Apley Pool. Then we will walk through the woods, and through the Apley Castle area, over the Footbridge into Dothill.
We pass the old Charlton School site, through the fields, around Dothill Pool, past Tee Lake, through the Beanhill Nature Reserve until we hit the Silkin Way near Admaston.
We follow the Silkin Way until it takes us to the back of Bratton, then we take the lane at the rear of Shawbirch and then turn right, following the path that goes past the pools at Shawbirch. This takes us back to the car park.
