Honey Creek Loop
Details
The hike will begin 9am Central Time/10am Eastern time.
Join me on a memorial hike to Honey Creek Loop Trail in honor of former Meetup hiking group leader Frank Will.
This is a 5.5 plus mile hike that requires a creek crossing, rock scrambling, along this most beautiful hike in the BSFNRA. There are three waterfalls, rain dependent, a rock house, and a spectacular overlook of the Big South Fork River.
This hike is rated difficult for the rocky trail and stairs. The widow of Frank Will, Tracy Will, will join us on the hike.
Many believe this is the most beautiful hike in Tennessee, and it is in my top 5.
Carpool is recommended as the trailhead parking is limited, so we will have a carpool from the Lebanon Home Depot parking, at 6:30am. Or meet us at the trailhead at 9am.
Do pack a lunch, and it is a good idea to bring a change of clothes. Dress appropriately for the weather.
