Tennis for game workshop

  • Jul 24, 2012 · 8:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This is part 2 of TIFFA (Tennis is fun for anyone) program which is made up of three workshops :

  1. Tennis for Fun - all basics with emphasis on footwork, forehand and backhand, plus etiquette on and off the tennis court
  2. Tennis for Game - above plus volley, overhead and serve
  3. Tennis for Win - above plus game strategy

Each of these workshops will make up of 8 sessions of two hours each.

To benefit from this workshop, it would be best if you either finished the Tennis for Fun Workshop or you have a consistent forehand, backhand and the footwork to support your strokes.

While we shall continue working on the ground strokes, we will introduce volley, overhead and serve which are the "killers" of your game i.e. either you kill the ball or suicide by putting the ball into net or hitting a home run.

As I would like to give individual more attention for these advance shots, I will strictly enforce the limit of 6 players at each session. Priority will be given to those who pay in advance. We shall charge HK$800 for the series of 8 sessions. For those who pay as you play, it will be $120 for each session.

The series will take place at HKTA.

Please reserve the following dates:

July 24, 26, 29, 31 Aug 2, 5, 7, 9

As the name imply, this program does not and cannot make you a pro. But I am sure you will turn out to really enjoy the game.
