Day Trip to Ayutthaya - by Train & Bike!

MRT Hualumphong

฿650.00

We will be renting bikes locally, after travelling there by train. The cycling path this time will be out of Ayuthaya island city. The total riding distance is about 20 k.m. So you should be comfortable cycling this distance . For this trip you might well be in the sun for long periods of time, and so covering shoulders is recommended, as well as a cap/hat The places on this trip are perhaps also off-the-beaten-path as we normally do. We are expecting to visit; -Wat Phanan Choeng is an active temple located off Ayutthaya's city island in the southeastern area in Kamang sub-district. -Bann Hollanda or Holland village is situated on what was called before "Ko Wilanda" or the Dutch Island, formed by the old Lopburi River -Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, “the Monastery of Auspicious Victory” is located East of the historical island. Highlight of the monastery is its very large imposing prang dominating the area. - The ancient boat graveyard - Wat Maheyong that built during the 1400's. It was first restored in 1711, and then destroyed again during the Burmese invasion. To confirm your seat, please immediately transfer the deposit to : Account Name : Santiporn Suttiwetchakul Number :[masked] Bangkok Bank (BBL) All the places are all well worth a visit though, especially for photographers and for amateur historians. Please bring 650 THB for this trip. This pays for your tour guide, entrance fee, the train ride. The bike rental is excluded, depends on the bike you choose (regular 50 and moutain bike 100 Baht).. Lunch and any possible personal shopping are not included also. The Ayutthaya inner or outer island is not a place with traffic as dangerous as Bangkok. There are several coffee shops or food stalls in the station, if you are a bit early. In this case there is little room for error, since we simply cannot miss the train. We're sure this will give encouragement where needed :) Cheers (:
