Third Saturday Evening at La Promenade Café

It's time for our annual holiday season meetup at La Promenade Café! Please bring The Daily Ukulele (the Yellow Book), The Daily Ukulele Leap Year Edition (the Blue Book), and a copy of the San Francisco Ukulele Rebellion Holiday Songbook, your instrument(s), a floor or table music stand, your singing voices, and your fabulous ukulele spirit!

After that, we'll go around the room so that everyone can pick songs to play. If you pick a song, you will be encouraged (but not required) to lead it. If you'd like to let the group know in advance which songs you plan to select, please post the songs you choose in the comments, and we'll play one of those songs each time it's your turn to pick a song. You can also brings songs to share that are not in the Yellow Book or the Blue Book; just please bring enough copies of the sheet music to share.

For the holiday season, we'll be collecting money to leave those working at La Promenade Cafe a large tip to wish them a happy holiday season and to thank them for their hospitality. Please consider a contribution larger than the suggested $5 contribution we collect for Meetup-related expenses.

And, as usual, to thank La Promenade Café for hosting us, everyone is encouraged to purchase some of the cafe's fabulous food and beverages.
