Imposter Syndrome Deep Dive - Overcoming Self Doubt


Do you ever feel like you don’t measure up, or don’t really deserve your accomplishments in your work or personal life...and worry that others will find out? That feeling is called Imposter Syndrome, and it brings stress to an astounding number of us.

This series will dive into how Imposter Syndrome affects you, and teach you how to overcome it. You’ll be able to stop questioning your self-worth and start enjoying your accomplishments. Hello confidence!

David Sacks, Ph.D., will lead this 3-session group. The group is limited to 10 people in order to provide a personal approach, tailored to you.

Here's a Breakdown of the Workshop:

Each session will start with an informational overview of the topic, followed by group discussion.

Session 1: Mindset and Attitude
We'll explore research and our own views about the type of mindsets
that put us at risk for having "Imposter Syndrome," and our abilities to

Session 2: On Seeking Competence and Perfection
We'll focus on perfectionism and its association with Imposter
Syndrome. Knowing that many high achievers feel like imposters, we'll
learn how to adopt an attitude in which we simultaneously feel like we
belong in our roles and also maintain our desire for continuous

Session 3: Diving Below the Surface: Obstacles to Internalizing that We
We'll address some of the underlying barriers to overcoming the
Imposter Syndrome:the factors that make it hard to internalize a sense of
competence even as we can intellectually get there.

This series takes place July 17th, July 31st, and August 14th from 6-7:30pm.
