Sonoran Stroll Usery Mountain Regional Park

I am very pleased to announce that Dan Wilson our Park Supervisor at Usery Mountain Regional Park has launched a brand new walking program called Sonoran Stroll. This will be a casual walking program through the beautiful and rugged Sonoran Desert. This will be a once a month walking program. The future of the program will be dependent on participation. Dan Wilson will speak to the group sharing his passion about using the park for health and wellness.  MEET at the Horse Stage Area with Lynn and Mark our park hosts.

We can meet to carpool from Basha parking lot that is on the southeast corner of Ellsworth and Brown Road. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. The park entrance fee is $6.00 per car, I have a yearly pass.

PLEASE BE PREPARED TO WALK WEARING GOOD SHOES, SUN PROTECTION, ENOUGH WATER AND CAMERA. QUESTIONS? CONTACT THE PARK[masked] OR MYSELF.

OUR SURGEON GENERAL LAUNCHED THIS PROGRAM LAST SEPTEMBER, FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT WALKING CHECK THE WEB SITE.

The park has an outdoor gym that we learned how to use today. A pass is $65.00 to $85.00 per year for the county park system. It could be one the cheapest way to fitness and fun.
