CELEBRATION!!! -- WE ARE 15 YEARS OLD!!

Thanks to everyone who has been participating in this meetup group since the start and up to now. It has been such a wonderful journey. Learning about places to hike, bike, kayak and to meet new people with like minded thoughts. We have all benefited from each other, learned from each other and some of us have become good friends. I can't say enough about those who come out to enjoy the outdoors, there is so much inspiration from each and every one of you. There is laughter, understanding, learning and progress for those who are new to the outdoors.

Thank you to those who volunteer to help out when I am not available. Thanks to Lois & Lorna for helping out with the kayaking experiences. You guys are the greatest. A thank you to Rita who has helped out with the biking expeditions as well. Erika & Nathanael are doing a wonderful job of looking after the evening walks. A very big thank you to all of you!! What a great team we have.

There is no end to the wonderful opportunities of nature. Another huge thanks to the FVMBA. If it wasn't for these hard working people we would not have those amazing trails to traverse. The job they do is incredible!! Also to the new walking/hiking trails that have been designed by hard working individuals like Dragon's Back & the Chilliwack Community Forest and now we have another, Qo Qo Lem which I have had the opportunity to hike in many different ways.

SO LETS CELEBRATE NATURE, FRIENDSHIP AND OPPORTUNITY!!

Bring your lunch/snack/beverage to keep you energized for a fun day hopefully in the sun. Don't forget your sunscreen/hat/chair and so on.

THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED IF IT IS RAINING :-(

For those that have bikes, kayaks, walking shoes etc.... we can make use of the dike and the canal that runs past the park if so desired. I will just socialize. It is a good mingle time. We can play games if interested. If you have a favourite outdoor game bring it along.
