How long have you been playing?

OMG since I was a baby. Not really. I've played since I was in my early twenties. After dinner with a date, his parents said "So, let's play bridge!" I drank a lot of Scotch that night. Eventually I learned, certainly not in one session though.

What you are looking for in a bridge group?

Just what we have. Friendships, good playing, learning something new about the game every time, socializing, fun.

Where did you learn to play?

In Minnesota at that date's family's home that was also a small private airport near Northfield, MN. His parents were duplicate bridge competitive players.

Serious or social bridge?

I really enjoy social bridge but also like to play with people who, like our group, talk about new conventions and offer tips (kindly). We don't score, so it's always friendly.
