Harriman - Reeves Meadow / Raccoon Brook Loop - 6 miles

Moderate-to-strenuous 6 miles, about 1200 ft total elevation gain through dramatic terrain and serene woodland trails typical of Harriman State Park system. Lots of stream crossings, and some scrambles, but you are rewarded with commanding views. Not suitable for absolute beginner hikers. Let's meet at the Reeves Meadow Visitor Center Parking lot off Seven Lakes Drive about 10 minutes ahead for departure!

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-704-7362.
**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
