Easy Paddle on Lake Robinson

Details

Lake Robinson is close to Greenville, with beautiful mountain views and a 10 HP limit on boat engines. So there are no fast boats or jet skis, and it's usually peaceful. Expect to paddle 5 to 6 miles at a easy/moderate 2.5 to 3 mph pace. We will stop midway for a lunch/snack break.

This trip is open to all kayak lengths and types.

Meet at the ramp 9:30 and launch by 10:00 am. If you do not have an annual pass to the lake, allow some extra time to go to the warden's office to purchase a day use pass ($5). If the office is not open, the sign says launch anyways. There are restrooms at the park.

Bring a PFD, whistle, water, lunch. As always, PFDs must be worn. This is a meetup, and you are responsible for your own safety.
