Are you currently involved in a startup?

No, we sold our business 18 months ago and I now work for the acquiring company.

If yes, what industry is the startup in?

What is the biggest challenge you've faced taking a startup from concept to market?

There are many challenges, but the central theme for our company was probably how to monetize a successful open source project at the core of the business that we give away for free.

Describe your startup philosophy in a sentence (if you have one)

Deliver in small increments, learn, and adapt.

Would you be willing to talk at a meetup about your experiences or area of expertise?

I'm Adrian Colyer, CTO of SpringSource - which is now a division of VMware after we were acquired in September 2009.
