Our choice for the December meetup is The Rainfall Market (2023) by You Yeong-Gwang. This cozy novel follows a lonely girl named Serin who finds her way into a mysterious market (complete with talking cat!) that provides her a chance to make a better future for herself.

As usual, our December book club will also serve as the book club holiday party to celebrate a year of reading! Please bring a (wrapped) used book to share in a "white elephant" exchange. Also as usual, this will be held at a private residence, so I will reach out to those who RSVP with the address.
