Deer Creek Park and Black Bear Trail 10.9 Mile Hike

This is a car shuttle hike. We will meet in the Deer Creek Park parking lot at 8:00am. We will then figure out who is driving everyone to Hildebrand Ranch Park approx. 3.7 miles away leaving some cars in the Deer Creek Park parking lot. We will then hike 10.9 miles with 1,683' elevation gain back to Deer Creek Park. We will need some one to drive some of us back to Hildebrand park to pick up cars. I have never done this hike. Looking forward to it. Keeping it close to town this weekend because of the Holiday week next week.
We can have a late lunch at Los Dos Potrillos Mexican Restaurant.

WHAT TO BRING: Appropriate gear (food/snacks, first aid kit, rain jacket/poncho, jacket, gloves, hat, hiking poles, spikes, water, sun screen, etc).
DISTANCE/GAIN: 10.9 miles RT with 1,683 ft. elevation gain. (Moderate-Strenuous).
