Let's kick off the first month of the year with a hike to stay in shape!
This EXTENDED hike will range between 7 to 9+ miles. Expected cumulative gains will easily exceed 2100+ feet.
Start time is 8am, sharp! 8:01am catches our back side. ;-)~
Expected hiking time, with a couple of stops for picture taking, snacks & water breaks is anywhere between 3.0 to 4.0 hours, depending on the group.
Please bring water (chilled or with ice) for drinking, hat and sun glasses for sun protection and snacks for yourself or to share among the group. Good hiking shoes or "grippy" shoes are essential and hiking poles for the many STEEP uphills and downhill sections may come in handy.
BTW ~ If you have a smartphone, apps such as MapMyHike or RunKeeper may come in handy to track the path we take during the hike.
