PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION

Come and join us on January 14, 2014 and learn from Sandy Chernoff how to develop the most important communication skill of all: active listening. This skill will dramatically improve your interpersonal relationships at work, at home and in volunteer situations. Sandy will teach us how to recognize listening interferences, use summarizing techniques and eliminate roadblocks to listening so that we become better listeners.

SPEAKER’S BIO

Sandy Chernoff, RDH, B.Sc., has practiced Dental Hygiene since 1968 and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education. Combining her Dental experience with specialized courses in leadership motivational training has provided Sandy with a broad base of knowledge and experience which she expertly employs in her educational offerings.

As a soft skills consultant, Sandy has delivered numerous customized workshops and personal coaching sessions in a variety of topics for Teaching Institutions, Unions, Professional and Volunteer Organizations and Conferences, Law firms, various businesses, and individuals.

Since 1995, audiences in Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Kelowna, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Powell River, North Battleford, Regina, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and New York City have enjoyed Sandy’s energetic, humorous, and interactive presentation style, which provides her sessions with variety and pace in an atmosphere most conducive to retentive learning.

LOGISTICS

The doors will open at 5:45pm. Informal networking takes place from 5:45pm to 6:15pm. The formal part of the meeting begins sharp at 6:15pm. The keynote speaker takes the stage at 6:45pm. Then there's speed networking from 7:45pm to 8:45pm.
