What we're about

The purpose of TAV&CC is to be a fellowship of Brothers & Sisters whose goal is to encourage personal growth and development through a proper perspective of Afrikan spirituality, self-awareness, education and enlightenment. It is necessary to understand that a proper spirituality is indispensable for true Afrikan liberation. We also understand and respect the fact that Afrikan spirituality may encompass the doctrines and teachings of a particular religion IF an individual chooses to relate to the Creator in such a fashion. This is so because we are all in the developmental process, and the mind can only operate within the parameters of its awareness. Therefore, TAV&CC promotes the resurrection and empowerment of its members through a knowledge of the TRUTH about our ancient spiritual and cultural heritage. The goal of TAV&CC is to help its members begin to examine our inner self, and to identify and dispel those characteristics that are foreign to us thereby inhibiting our spiritual, personal growth and empowerment.
