Join us for hot tea, dharma talk and Buddhist meditation! The practice of Buddhism has been around for over 2500 years and has helped countless people gain insight, wisdom and peace. Buddhism is a practice like yoga or learning to play music. If you practice the techniques and have the right understanding of those practices, then you will uncover that peace and light within you. It is a study of the mind and consciousness. This group is designed to be instructive and supportive of your personal journey toward liberation and enlightenment. We will mix each meeting with combination of Dharma discussion and meditation practice. These practices and teachings are not meant to compete with or replace anyone's belief system or practice and often only enhances a person's already existing beliefs and practices.
Bring your own sitting pillow and/or yoga mat. Please arrive 15 minutes before class to sign in and get settled.
