What made you join the drum circle?

When I lived in Southern California, some friends and I would have impromptu drumming circles in the park. I loved them and I miss them.

What is your experience level with drumming (or other instruments)?

Little experience, but I do have rhythm!

Are you better with learning rhythms by listening to them, or seeing them on paper?

Listening to them! I am not a musician -- I am an historian!

Would you be willing to play at any public events?

Um, I don't know.

What is your drum/instrument of choice? (Possibilities include: doumbeks, djembes, bougarabous, bhogram, bongos, etc.)

I'm not sure. In the past, I played whatever was available. I'm a quick study.
