What made you join the drum circle?

The joy of group jamming and the oddities that come from improved rhythms. Also, would the group be interested in having fire(poi) spinners dance to the rhythms b/c they blend wonderfully.

What is your experience level with drumming (or other instruments)?

Beginner, no instrument YET!

Are you better with learning rhythms by listening to them, or seeing them on paper?

By listening but I have some experience with reading music, just need a crash course.

Would you be willing to play at any public events?

Most definetely, once again, fire poi and drum circles are magical and in my opinion made for each other.

What is your drum/instrument of choice? (Possibilities include: doumbeks, djembes, bougarabous, bhogram, bongos, etc.)

Because of my lack of skills I'm open to any, and I am a very fast at learning new things and can mimick rhythms as well as create them.

my name is alex, im a musician and fire performer and lover of life and meeting new poeple. I'm new to drumming so this could be a great learning experience for me, unfortunately I dont own a drum of any sort.
