HIKE STILL ON, LOCATION CHANGE
DUE TO THE FIRE, THERE'S A RED FLAG WARNING. THAT MEANS THAT ALL TRAILS ARE CLOSED.
BUT THERE IS ONE TRAIL WE CAN DO THAT IS NOT CLOSED, AND THAT'S THE BOTANIC GARDENS AND TARANTULA HILL IN THOUSAND OAKS, SO THAT'S WHERE WE'RE GOING YAY!
THE HIKE IS STILL ON, IT'S JUST BEING MOVED. STILL A POTLUCK, SO STILL BRING SNACKS AND DRINKS (WE'LL NEED 'EM!)
PLEASE REFER TO THE MAP LINK AND DIRECTIONS.
SAME TIME PEOPLE YAY!
FIRST PART OF THE HIKE:BOTANIC GARDEN TRAIL We'll be doing a counter clockwise route through the botanic gardens and take in all the beauty of the flowering plants and trees.

Elevation gain/loss 150 ft.
SECOND PART OF THE HIKE:TARANTULA HILL This is the second part of our suburban hike and it will get your hearts pumping as we make our way up a paved road to the highest point in the Conejo Valley. This is where we'll enjoy our snacks.
