Hey Everyone,

Let's do a great hike in the hills of Chatsworth and take in spectacular views of the San Fernando Valley before a thick layer of smog ruins it.

I scheduled this one after church, because what's better than getting fucked up on alcohol after you've made amends of all the shitty things you did wrong the previous week?! Can I get a hallelujah mah brothas?! πŸ™Œ πŸ™‡πŸ» πŸ™Œ

We'll climb Santa Susana Pass on a varying wide and single track trails through amazing sandstone formations and up to the top where we'll take in expansive views of the prettier end of the Valley.

This historic site is where stagecoaches, traveling between the two valleys, made their steep and treacherous ascent/decent over precarious rock and narrow passages... which is so stupid, why didn't they just take the 101?!!

Afterwards, let's go to Los Toros (http://www.lostoros.com/) for some legendary Margaritas, bean dip and debauchery... and yes, that was us... 🍹 and no, I couldn't find a Margarita emoji, so I had to settle for a Mai Tai

*hiccup*

Whatever happens there, don't count on it staying there, you know how my members are! Me? I'll plead the Fifth

πŸ™ˆ πŸ™‰ πŸ™Š

Please consider taking an Uber home, or pick your favorite Designated Driver for the ride (Sorry, but I'm already taken).

Scenes from previous trips (the grainy, out-of-focus ones are due to the Margaritas my members drank):

DISTANCE: approx 3 miles

ELEV GAIN/LOSS: approx 700 ft.

TRAIL: varying wide fire road and single track trail

DURATION: approx 3 or more hours depending on how many Margaritas we have... could feel like hours and hours

We'll be leaving promptly, so if you're late, we won't wait!

This is hike suitable for fit beginners as well as the more seasoned hiker and Margarita drinker, novices may find this too tough

Bring the usual water, sturdy hiking shoes, etc.
