We are a group of book lovers that meet once a month to discuss books.....fantastical and glorious books.

We like to read books from all genres, though usually fiction, though we have thrown in a non-fiction a time or two.

During the monthly meetups, we choose the next book. Actually, we tend to stay 2 months in advance so everyone has a chance to get the book from the library if they want.

How we choose books is a little different too. We don't really discuss the book before reading it. Someone at the meeting suggests a book they would like to read and we tend to go with that one. We think the real discussion should happen after the book is read. We also tend to stick with books that can be found at the library. We feel you shouldn't have to buy a book for the book club when there are these amazing building chuck full of books that you can barrow for free. Free is awesome.

We don't require you to read the book before coming to the meetup. We all understand that life happens. we also understand that some books are just duds. Duds happen, we aren't going to make you suffer through one in the name of the book club. There are just too many great books out there to read.

We do have a couple of rules we like to stick to other that the couple already mentioned.

The RSVPs for the group will be at 10 each month. Our venue is smaller and we want to keep the discussion more intimate.

If you RSVP and don't show 2 times, you will be removed permanently from the group. So keep those RSVPs current.

Soooo, if you love to read and what to talk to others about your reads, join up, some up and meet a group of interesting and amazing book lovers.

We have started a new chapter in the book club. This one is all about self help, metaphysical and new age type books. This metaphysical chapter will run similar to the original book club by keeping the focus on the specific though wide ranging genre of self help, metaphysical and new age.
