The Sufficiency of Scripture and the Southern Baptist Pastor On Thursday, September 23, the Theology discussion group will make a FIELD TRIP to Mansfield, TX (just south of Fort Worth and west of Arlington) to hear a conference speech by Dr. Tom Nettles who will be speaking on the topic of "The Sufficiency of Scripture and the Southern Baptist Pastor." The speech begins at 7PM (NOT 8PM - which is our regular meeting time) and will be held at the following location: Heritage Baptist Church 201 East Broad Street Mansfield, TX 76063 The speech on Thursday night is one session of an entire conference which begins on Thursday afternoon and ends on Saturday morning (September 23-25). If you would like to attend more sessions within this conference, here is the conference website and schedule: There is no charge for this conference unless you would like to purchase conference materials and/or eat breakfast, lunch or dinner provided by the church.
