“I have been, and still am a seeker, but I have ceased to question stars and books; I have begun to listen to the teaching my blood whispers to me.” ~ Herman Hesse
About Wolf Pack
ReRooting through Body, Nature and Community
‘For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack’ - Rudyard Kipling
Wolf Pack used to be a resource for men only, but as the lone wolf found a female wolf and they became the parents to a couple of pups, the offering evolved.
We come together as a pack, to reclaim that which we have lost as a people: our connection to the land, each other and ourselves.
In schools you get taught algebra, how to read, to write – but for many of us no one taught us about our inner selves, especially the twisted and crooked parts that can growl, skulk or shine - that which is wild and animal within us that conventional society struggles to honour and give home to.
Wolf Pack originated from a deep belief that those hidden parts of ourselves need to be integrated in order to become part of the solution for today’s challenges.
Wolf Pack is the training ground where we cultivate the awareness and the skills to access and embody that self which one truly is. Through Body, Nature and Community.
We need the wisdom and innate strength of our BODIES to come online again. Cultivating the eyes to see and the ears to hear what is happening, right now.
We need the NATURAL WORLD to help us remember, to hold us, to challenge and nourish us.
We need EACH OTHER. What is happening in any moment between us is the fuel for our own healing and growth.
In this Meetup we will be practicing ReRooting in our essential nature. This will include a focus on body, nature and community.
* Body: practicing natural movement, strength, comfort in the elements, awakening the bodies senses, resilience, somatic awareness, barefoot walking, connection based dance... * Nature: Being IN nature (half the battle), remembering we are a part of her, challenged and nourished by, tuning into the natural rhythm of life, bushcraft and practical skills... * Community: practicing the skills of conscious communication via bodily cues and awareness, being real, avoiding niceties, healthy rituals, strengthening the skills for conscious community/relationships/parenting...
Welcome to the pack...
This will look like "firetalks" and "days lost in the woods" as chances to meetup...
