In a world where we all feel pulled in a hundred different directions, the secret to happiness lies in hard work and helping others. Think you're ready? C.C. Chapman's most recent book Amazing Things Will Happen: A Real-World Guide on Achieving Success and Happiness (http://www.cc-chapman.com/amazing-things-will-happen/) is a guide to living a fulfilling life. C.C. believes that we are all entitled to live the amazing lives that we desire. The key is defining what that means, so that we can each choose the path to get there. His approach is unlike what you'll find in other self help books. Through advice, lessons and mentorship received over the years, C.C. will provide an honest and open look at what you need to do in order to have amazing things happen in your life.

We've got charging stations

You’ve had a busy day at the office, using your mobile phone or tablet pretty much constantly. Then it’s time to rush out the door to your favourite event, like Third Tuesday Toronto (http://www.meetup.com/third-tuesday-toronto/). You arrive and you want to check in and begin Tweeting and what do you discover? Your battery is almost dead. So you start searching for an electric outlet and asking your friends if they have the connector you need for your phone or tablet. Thankfully that won’t happen to you, our Third Tuesday sponsor, Rogers Communications (http://social.rogers.com/) will be on hand with their charging station to enable anyone at the event to recharge their mobile devices.

Thank you to our sponsors

Third Tuesday is supported by great sponsors - Cision Canada (http://ca.cision.com/) and Rogers Communications (http://www.rogers.com/) - who believe in our community and help us to bring speakers not just to Toronto but to Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver as well. Without the sponsors we couldn't make Third Tuesday a truly Canadian affair. So, thank you to the sponsors of the Third Tuesday 2012-13 season: Cision Canada and Rogers Communications.

We want students to be able to attend

Third Tuesday is a great opportunity to hear about the latest developments in social media and to network with business and thought leaders. And we don't want students to miss out on this opportunity. So, if you are a student and would like to attend, don't let the admission fee stop you. Simply present your student ID card at the time you sign into Third Tuesday and we'll refund your admission fee, courtesy of Thornley Fallis (http://www.thornleyfallis.com/).
