We've got another awesome speaker & topic for April's Meetup...
Social media often blurs the lines of consumer and producer, and "Crowdsourcing" is a perfect example of this phenomenon. It is changing the way many businesses are interacting with the public and has produced innovative ideas, solutions and modules.
Monica Hamburg discusses this exciting, burgeoning concept -- what it is, how companies are using it, some pitfalls, and some tips.
Monica Hamburg is a social media evangelist in Vancouver, Canada. Her investigations and observations on social media, and its relation to business and connecting, form the basis of her blog, "Me Like the Interweb". She is a frequent contributor to the popular digital marketing magazine "One Degree", as well as a former actor who uses her dry humour and entertaining skills for speaking engagements and in her blog "Your Dose of Lunacy".
We're heading back to The Network Hub, as they've generously offered us their space once again. Thanks Network Hub for your continued support! Additionally, we've got a media sponsor for this event as well! Rebecca (http://www.miss604.co... (http://www.miss604.com)) will be live-blogging this event, and has a Future Shop gift card to give away to one of the lucky attendees!
See you all on April 15th!
