THIRD TUESDAY FEBRUARY- Steve Jagger: Tools For Growth

This month's topic: "Tools to help reduce costs and grow your business"

Stephen Jagger, co-founder of Ubertor.com and Reachd.com will be on hand to share tools and ideas that his company uses to operate two virtual businesses in this demanding business environment. Come learn about how he operates these businesses and has significantly cut costs while continuing to grow both companies.

Don't forget to let your friends and colleagues know about THIRD TUESDAY events! They're free, and a great way to meet some cool people!

Thank-you, once again, to Republic for providing THIRD TUESDAY with a venue to host these events.

Tris Hussey (click here for his blog) will be live-blogging this event for those of you not able to make it, or would like to refer back afterwards! Thanks Tris!

If anyone's interested in another quick summary, I've posted links to some of the tools mentioned (http://danielmclaren.net/2009/02/23/stephen-jagger-at-third-tuesday). Don't forget the liveblog by Tris Hussey (http://www.trishussey.com/2009/02/17/third-tuesday-vancouver-live-blog-steve-jagger-tools-for-growth/). Thanks for pointing out some great resources, Steve!

I had a very nice experience at this event, once again. Saw some familiar faces and encountered some new ones. The speaker brought up very good and creative ideas for doing business virtually and cheaply. Nice event, well organized, great people all around.

Steve was spot-on with numerous ideas that I am sure will help people who want to go completely online.

The title didn't match the talk...it was better! Fantastic info for all SMBs.

It was a quick presentation that I had came late for (assumed there would be more mingling time before he began). Am neutral on the topic b/c I knew about many things he talked about but did take away a couple of tidbits. Would have preferred if he spoke more generally and not just promote the services he uses. ie: The UPS store has the same fx's as Mailboxes, or the different sites for time sheets....

Hi Darren! Welcome... This event is not just geared for virtual companies, but rather for all organizations, (and even personal brands) looking to grow. It's a topic that will be interesting to almost everyone in the social media community. Hope to see you there!

Haven't been to a TT event before. Would this particular event be more geared to those with existing online businesses (read: not appropriate for those in the planning stages of a social network project)?

Thanks, and sorry for asking what may be a stupid question!
