A Night to Remember

Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, Tommy has been living in Atlanta since 1978. While in college, he was a member of the symphonic orchestra (contra bass clarinet) and the jazz ensemble (sax and flute). He also found the time to gig with some of Jacksonvilles’ top local funk and jazz bands. He has showcased these talents in the US and abroad, performing with and sharing the stage with such notables as The Temptations, Millie Jackson, The O’Jays, BB King, Michael Henderson, Nina Simone, Archie Bell and the Drells, Issac Hayes, Joe Simon, Bobby Blue Bland, Peaches and Herb, Johnny Taylor, The Brothers Johnson, The Isley Brothers, Adlan Cruz, Howard Hewitt, The Dells, Miles Jaye, Reynaldo Rey, The Whispers, The Stylistics, and too many more to name in a career that has spanned over 30 years.

Joining Tommy for the evening will be Atlanta’s own Jazz Diva, Tommie Macon. Originally from Washington, D.C. – Tommie wrote and co-directed the Musical “WHERE THE GOOD SONGS GO”, which was performed by The Young Actors of Atlanta performers for a period of three weeks at The Atlanta Playhouse. Has recorded voice-over commercials for local businesses and radio commercials.
