The WALKS section of our website has 3 parts. This page provides you with detailed descriptions of all the walks and strolls on offer during the festival week. You should read this in conjunction with the MAP OF START POINTS page which shows where all walks and strolls start and please also read the INFORMATION FOR WALKERS before you book.

Guided walks will have a Walk Leader and a Back Marker and will vary in difficulty and length. Strolls are not strenuous and may be relatively short but all will be led by a local person with specialist subject knowledge. Both Walks and Strolls will be in groups of around 25 people.

All guided walks cost £8, including any transport needed.

Description: Leaving Selkirk we will follow the Ettrick Water to its conflux with the River Tweed. Crossing the picturesque Old Bridge, the route follows the River Tweed to Yair where we join the Southern Upland Way and climb up to the iconic Three Brethren.
