I teach yoga as a progressive therapeutic healing modality of which is a committed and devotional practice that emphasizes prosperous health, a purified mind, an energized and connected soul and a kind, compassionate heart.

I teach you to become unstuck and unattached from your heavy rooted limitations and beliefs that are imprinted into your mind, body and soul. Feeling grounded and safe.

I do what I do because my past experiences with chronic illness with depression and emotional trauma brought me onto this spiritual path, with three near death experiences, numerous abusive relationships, physical assault and the loss of a soul. I didn’t need anymore wake up calls to change how I was living my life and who and what I was attracting.

I believe no one should have to suffer with their pains and struggles and you all deserve freedom, joy, healing, peace, love, success and happiness.

I love yoga because it has been my counselling, my healing medicine, it has been my most powerful and profound facilitator of recovery, self expansion and growth.

My mission of yoga empowers to empower. If you heal the heart, mind and soul, you heal your body.

Chakra Yin Yoga & Meditation

There are thousands of chakras on your body and in your energy field, but most people are familiar with the 7 main chakras that stem from your sacrum to the top of your head. The 7 Chakras are: Root chakra (Muladhara) Navel chakra (Swadhisthana) Solar plexus chakra (Manipura) Heart chakra (Anahata) Throat chakra (Vishuddha) Third eye chakra (Ajna) Crown chakra (Sahasrara) Each chakra is like a spinning wheel of energy that represents a different element of life and being. When all 7 chakras are in balance, you will feel vital, safe, inspired, and tuned in to your natural potential and can heal on a deep emotional level. Working with the chakras can be very fun and relaxing, and it can bring a new sense of purpose to your goals, relationships, visions, and dreams. One of the best ways to work with the chakras is through gentle yin yoga, meditation, and pranayama. These classes are a longer 90 minute session to really nurture your mind body and soul with the bliss of yin yoga sequences tailored to help balance and align your chakras followed my meditation. Mindful Movement- Tai Chi, Yoga and Meditation, LGCC, 7.15-8.15pm.

A mixture of Qi gong (Tai chi) and Accessible yoga combined with breath and meditation to leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. This class has more Tai chi flow than yoga. 💚 The benefits of this practice focus on external and internal well-being of our body. The health benefits from Qigong and Tai Chi comes about both by supporting the body's natural tendency to return to balance and equilibrium and also gently yet profoundly creating strength, flexibility and balance in the muscles and joints through gentle flowing movements. I will add some gentle yoga Asana of various styles into the class to balance body and mind before we move into meditation. 🧡 Providing healing effects and help in calming the mind and nurturing the spirit. 💚 Breathing is an integral part of this practice without which the practice remains incomplete. Yoga gives the gift of a calm mind, even in the midst of chaos, by teaching you to let go and bring awareness to every moment. Mind-body integration means establishing a healthy dialogue between your thoughts and your cells. Yoga is a powerful practice that enhances your mind-body integration. Through conscious breathing, movement, and attention to the physical postures, you cultivate a state of body-centered restful awareness, bringing harmony to the physical, mental and emotional body. I teach yoga with various styles of physical Asana (postures) practice and yoga philosophy to support the structure of the class: This class is Hatha and Yin Yoga structured. It is an classical system that includes the practice of asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises), which help bring peace to the mind and body, preparing the body for deeper spiritual practices such as meditation. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes Yin increases your flexibility. Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body.
