Dreamy Draw FITNESS HIKE @ 5:30pm

Trail Type: Multi-use (hikers, horses, cyclists, dogs, coyotes, rattlesnakes, plodders, homeless, movers, shakers, groovers, butchers, bakers, candlestick makers, the undead, and even vegetarians)
Difficulty: MODERATE to MODERATELY-DIFFICULT to OMG I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS FITNESS HIKE for those interested in exploring the STEEPER GRADES of the Dreamy Draw Recreation Area at a BRISK PACE. Assess your abilities accordingly! Bring WATER! We leave the parking lot at 5:30pm and occasionally return by 7:00pm.

WHAT TO BRING : WATER (1-20 liters), HEADLAMP or FLASHLIGHT; although it's light when we begin, you'll be abandoned in the dark by the end of the hike.
MEETING LOCATION: The Dreamy Draw Recreation Area is located at the END of Northern, just East of SR-51, Phoenix, Arizona, USA, Earth, Milky Way, Universe. If you are coming either North or South on SR-51, exit at Northern. Northern heading east dumps into the Dreamy Draw Recreation Area. Follow the road into the recreation area to the parking lot until you can go no further without running over hikers or other multi-use types....see Trail Type (above). There is but one entry road with no deviation so you'll have to sneak out by driving in reverse without any lights on. (MapQuest shows a service road that is not accessible to the public... so avoid being public... or don't use MapQuest)
There are trailheads going every which way from the parking lot... so just look for a clump of people...or hikers. A large paved parking lot, drinking water and restrooms are available.

REMINDER! Begin to HYDRATE at least an hour BEFORE the hike and bring WATER to maintain hydration during the hike. RECOVER after the hike with beverages containing alcohol such as BEER. Always use a designated driver after consuming alcohol.
